Bristol Morgan was nominated for the Student Spotlight Award by Mr. Dierksen!Â
Grouping students in 6th grade is usually a hard task but she never cares or complains about a group or partner she is paired with. She makes every student in her class feel important and cared about. She shares her supplies with any and every student that needs a pencil or paper. Additionally, she always gives her best effort no matter what the subject or activity. In the classroom, at recess, or on the court her attitude and effort is something all teachers and staff appreciate at LES. Great job Bristol Morgan.Â

Bailee Harwell, Maylee Hammerschmidt, and Charlie Smith were nominated for the student spotlight award by Mrs. Scheib. Bailee, Maylee, and Charlie were observed using their time wisely as they waited in the gym in the morning before the starting bell. Rather than playing a game or other activity, they chose to get out their materials to study with one another for a test. These good choices led other classmates to join in and study as well. These girls demonstrated what it means to be a leopard. Keep it up girls!Â
